Frequently asked questions
What is 1ai.tools?
+
1ai.tools is a directory of AI tools. Every tool is reviewed by a person before it goes live. Each listing shows what the tool does, who it is for, pros and cons, pricing, user reviews and alternatives.
How do I list my AI tool?
+
Paste your website URL in the box at the top of the home page. Our AI reads your site and writes the listing. You check and edit it, sign in with Google or with an email code, and publish. Our team reviews it before it goes live.
Is listing free?
+
Yes, if you add one dofollow link to 1ai.tools on your website. The listing stays free while the link stays up. Every listing is reviewed in about 7 days.
How do you choose alternatives to a tool?
+
Alternatives are tools in the same category that share tags and use cases. Each tool page has an Alternatives tab and a full alternatives page you can compare by pricing and user rating.
Can AI assistants read this directory?
+
Yes. 1ai.tools publishes /llms.txt, /llms-full.txt and a Markdown version of every tool page, plus schema.org JSON-LD, so ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and other AI tools can read and cite it.
How can I get new AI tools by email?
+
Subscribe to the newsletter on this page. You can choose a daily or a weekly email with every newly approved tool.
